‘TANGO SQUADRON’

FOUNDATION FOR THE PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THAI AIRCRAFT

This listing is based on personal observations and research. Many exhibits have been closely inspected by the author, and many identities confirmed or corrected from previously published information, based on airframe data plates etc.  The author is a member of ‘Tango Squadron’ and is also indebted to their in-house magazine. Particular thanks are due to Nawaporn Sawaetwong and the staff of ‘Tango Squadron’ at both Chiang Mai and Don Muang for their help. Also to Andre Wadman, Tom Milliken, Russell Carter and others for their reports.

‘Standard’ references such as Bob Ogden’s “Aircraft Museums & Collections of the World : Asia” have also been referred to.

‘Tango Squadron’ have their HQ at Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport, where a new museum has been built, but most airworthy aircraft are based at Chiang Mai.

Many serials are in Thai script, generally enclosed in “—” below.  # means no external identification

Tango Squadron have a new website, currently in Thai, but with photos etc:-
