(unidentified) owned by Akkara Co Ltd. crashed at
1000 on 05-Dec-06 when a sudden strong wind caused the two pilots to lose
control, causing it to crash into two power poles and a coconut tree, then to
the ground at Tambon Nongplue,
Bang Lamung District, Chonburi
Province; the two Russian pilots were flying the airship to a spot on Pattaya beach to take part in a show as part of the
celebration of King Bhumipol’s birthday; 2 pilots
(Russian) injured. Airship had been bought by Akkara
Co Ltd (MD Damrong Somakul)
