Other balloons known to have previously operated in Thailand include:-

 

Airship (unidentified) owned by Akkara Co Ltd. crashed at 1000 on 05-Dec-06 when a sudden strong wind caused the two pilots to lose control, causing it to crash into two power poles and a coconut tree, then to the ground at Tambon Nongplue, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province; the two Russian pilots were flying the airship to a spot on Pattaya beach to take part in a show as part of the celebration of King Bhumipol’s birthday; 2 pilots (Russian) injured. Airship had been bought by Akkara Co Ltd (MD Damrong Somakul) from Russia for Bt30 million.

 

T&C 90;  operated in Thailand by Master Ad (Thailand), an outdoor advertising company based in Chatuchak, Bangkok, status unknown

G-SIAM Cameron V-90 c/n 4096 ex G-BXBS; R07-Mar-01 to David Tuck (London address) & operated by him in Thailand for private pleasure flying only; sold to J.A.W.Dyer (UK address, but Basra-based) Nov-06
